OUR STORY

Hi, I’m Skylynn the creator of grunge & roses, a multi-style store of handcrafted art, apparel, & music. This is a one stop, pop-up shop, touring the STL/Metro Area in our Groovy School Bus! We're merging trendy, grunge, vintage, hippie, and bohemian styles. Our shop focuses on creative arts of all kinds. This includes hand crafted and/or repurposed clothing, varieties of tie dye, vintage & hand crafted records, discs, canvases, & accessories - with many more visions in the works. 

 

G&R was created in the beginning with one simple word, inclusivity. Beginning with my own life experiences that include loss, grief, mental health struggles that at one point even lead to attempting suicide. It was a hard climb up, but I was blessed with a complete turn around finding faith and passion in life through creative art and ministry. Rediscovering a love for myself with a special empathy for others. Being plus size, I struggled for years to find brands with my style of clothing that actually fit my body type. I know many others that have struggled with this as well, rather they are smaller or larger. So my heart and plan is to create a place that offers sizes in XS to 5XL, while doing my best to maintain affordability and style.

 

We will be donating a portion of earnings to a different charity at the end of each month. Grunge & Roses will be a welcoming, expressive, and fun space for ALL!  We advocate with you and support your mental journey along with your physical journey of style and uniqueness!
